What is Catertots4Home.com

Catertots4Home.com is a new Home delivery offering within the Cater Tots group. This online ordering system was created by Cater Tots after we received several requests from parents who are looking to continue to feed their children our nutritious, tasty  lunches while they are at home, as a result of COVID-19.

We listened to our parents' needs, and have invested in new equipment and created a 5 meal “Lunch Pack” that can be ordered online and delivered on the weekend for your child to have lunch during the week that follows. 

In addition to lunch options, we have also started delivering “Family Style Meals” that are sold as a Main Entree and two sides to feed up to four people. Please see the Family Style Meal page for our current options.

What is a “Lunch Pack?”

Our Lunch Pack is a choice of five of your child's favorite entrees that have been freshly cooked and sealed to ensure taste and quality. These entrees will hold for up to 5 days after pick up, in normal refrigeration. They can also be held frozen upon receiving, and can be held for 1-2 months in the freezer. Our lunch packs are sold as a set of five entrees, and your “Pack” can be made up of the same item or different item choices from our weekly menu. We also offer sides and drinks which are sold separately.

What is the order & pick up schedule?

Menus for the week will be available for 4 individual weeks at a time. Our order cut off is 12pm on the preceding Tuesday before the selected weekly menu. All pick ups are made on Monday between 8am and 2pm..

How do I pick up my order?

Order pickup is available at our kitchen in Santa Ana. If you select order pick up, your order will be ready for pick up on Monday morning at our main facility. You must pick up your order between 8am and 12pm as we have a limited number of employees on site due to COVID-19 restrictions.
Our Address is 2929 Halladay Street, Santa Ana, Ca. 92705.

We are off of the 55 and Dyer, Head West on Dyer and turn left on Halladay (about 1 mile from fwy). We are half way up Halladay on the left side of the street. You will see the address numbers from the street. Our building is a tan color with parking spots out front. Please call us when you arrive 714.751.8500. and we will deliver your order to your car.


How do I store my lunches once I have received them?

Once you receive your order, please remove lunch packs and place them in a refrigerator. If you will not be consuming the lunches during the week, you may freeze the entrees. 

Your sides should be stored accordingly;
Fruits, Vegetables and Drinks should go in the refrigerator.
Snacks and Chips are safe to stay at room temperature.

How do I warm my entrée?

To warm your entrée, simply pour the contents of the pouch into the microwave safe container provided and warm in your microwave until internal temperature reaches 160°. Heat for 1 minute, stir and warm another minute. 

To warm in an oven, place contents into oven safe container and warm at 350° for 8-10 minutes until internal temperature reaches 160°

OUR BLACK CONTAINERS & POUCHES PROVIDED ARE NOT OVEN SAFE. 

How is my order packaged?

Orders placed by the Tuesday 12pm cutoff will be available for pick up on Monday. We pack your order in a reusable insulated bag with ice packs to ensure that it keeps temperature while in transport and until you can place it into the refrigerator. Pick up orders can hold in the bags with ice for up to 3 hours. Reusable bags will be collected on your next delivery, so please bring bags with you on your next order pick up or leave them outside for our driver.


Do you have nutritional information for your meals?

Yes, all food pouches will contain a nutritional label and this information will also be available on our website. If you don't see information for the menu item you're looking for, then feel free to email us.

How much do your meals cost?

We strive to keep our costs as reasonable as possible, while we continue to use only the freshest high-quality ingredients. Our Lunch Packs start around $30 per lunch pack with sides and drinks individually priced.

Can I cancel my order?

We DO NOT accept cancellations past our cut off on Tuesday 12pm before the Monday Pick up. It takes time and planning to source fresh ingredients and put everything together and ensure successful accurate delivery to all of our clients. 

Cancellations that are requested prior to cut off will be refunded - minus any applicable credit card processing fees. We can also issue a credit for the full amount which can be used towards future purchases.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards and Apple Pay and Paypal

My lunch packs come pre-portioned, what does that mean?

Each entrée in the lunch pack comes pre-portioned in it's own individual pouch/container. We follow USDA and CalSNA guidelines to determine our portion sizes to ensure your child is getting the correct amount of proteins, vegetables and starches- this also ensures that they are eating a healthy portion and not overeating.

Does your food come cooked?

Yes, Our service is to provide our parents with a quick convenient healthy offering. So all hot entrees are fully cooked before it is vacuum sealed and only require reheating before consumption.

How are your meals packaged?

All meals are individually portioned and blast frozen with a label containing heating instructions and nutritional information. Your containers are dishwasher and microwave safe, in addition to being recyclable.

Do you have a minimum order amount?

Yes we do! Our minimum order amount is $30 excluding shipping and taxes(if applicable), and we reserve the right to cancel your order if the minimum isn't met.
